view from office windowI just got a new camera (Nikon D300) and am looking forward to learning to get the most from it. I've only taken a few dozen pictures so for, but it's clearly a huge upgrade from my first DSLR (a Nikon D70) in every meaningful respect (autofocus, handling, low-light image quality, and speed).
This is the good light season in Southern California, and I should have some wonderful early and late-day opportunities in the coming weeks.
